I will stay clear of UPS. I have a comment. I fly with my bike a lot. I pack it myself at the airport. I wrap it up in bubble wrap too. Sometimes I can't find a bike box at the airport. This happened recently at Toronto airport. Lucky I was to find the guys that wrap cling wrap around suit cases. Cost me $11 Canadian. If you can find some cardboard, use it to wrap around the axles for extra security. My next trip is from Manchester, UK, back to Toronto. If I can't find a bike box from one of the airline counters, I'll have to find someone else who can help me. Anybody ever fly with their bike from MAN? I'll look for the cling wrap guys again, and, as a last resort, will pack it with cardboard and a few rolls of clingwrap from the grocery store. I have until the eighth of August before I go.
