^ I think it is pretty rare. The 'cross' series of bikes started in 1989 and as far as I can find at miyatacatalogs.com, none are pictured or listed as coming in a mixte version...the catalog notes sizes with an 'L' for bikes that did come that way. Not that that makes it especially valuable (except maybe to total geeks like us), but it does make for an appealing city bike. Catalog for the 1990 version lists weight is 23.5 lbs, competitive with their mid range road bikes of the time. As far as I can see in the catalogs there is no Miyata that came with factory fenders, either, but that's what this one has...Miyata logo is on them.
