not at all. it isnt my style but i still think it looks like a lot of fun just the way it is. add a rear rack and it would be a classy commuter. the biggest downfall may be shifting. the equipment is great but in may feel unnatural using downtubes from that handlebar position. ive never tried it though. other members in C&V have set bikes up like this so it cant be that bad.
