Last fall, someone in the neighborhood put this Nishiki Rally out to the curb for collection, so I collected it.
Any time a bike like that fall into my hands, you can safely bet the farm that it will get a gearhub conversion faster than you can say, Sturmey Archer, so this one got an SRF3 hub, bull horn handlebar, well, I trimmed them back a bit so I guess we can call them cow horns. On second thought, I suppose it should be steer horn.
Well, whatever you call it, I fitted a bar end shifter and interrupter style levers.
The rims are 27" CR18, shod with Scwalbe Marathon 27 x 1 1/4 tires.
Original parts used were, frame, fork, headset, Dia Compe brake calipers and the stem.
And the finished product.
