That's almost the same gearing I settled on for my 2x5 Mercian setup:
46/38: 13-15-17-19-23
No redundant gear combos, mostly even spacing, a high of 98 gear inches and a low of 42 gear inches. I rarely shoot for higher than 95 gear inches and prefer lower gearing / spinning. I also do a lot of hill climbing.
