84' Miyata710

I have a Miyata 710 that is blue. I got it as a frameset so I never saw it with the drivetrain. It has a Campy cable basement and a Campy sticker on the drive side chainstay.
The catalogs from 84' have the same graphics as it but, mine is zodiac blue and that wasn't the stock color.
I've found a couple pictures online, but, they aren't common (it is almost 30 years old).

The Campy drivetrain is the weird part, Only a few of the team/pro version run campy. I now see it had come with NR drive and Dia-Comp brakes.
Does any of you out there know if this was not meant for sale in the USA or is it some 1/2 year model?
It's been buggin' me not knowing the history of the bike itself, any info/data/opinions would be welcomed.
