I was given the choice of having a standard or virtual colonoscopy. I decided on the standard colonoscopy because if polyps were found, I wanted to have them removed right away as opposed to having to undergo a second procedure. Fortunately I didn't have any.

For those who are dreading the prep procedure, having diarrhea flu or food poisoning is far, far worse.
