Definitely looking forward to meeting people along the way. I have found on past tours that putting in miles doesn't necessarily interfere with this. And yeah, I definitely like US20 over the google route. I hear there are portions of it where the shoulder disappears, which is unfortunate. But I'm sure there will be alternate routes running parallel to it that we will be able to utilize. Also, probably more campgrounds along that way
