Another item of interest: My insurance company called to say that they'd approved 100% coverage of the procedure
if it was "of an exploratory nature" ...but that if the gastroenterologist found any polyps and removed them during that procedure, it then qualified as "outpatient surgery" and I would be responsible for a $200 Co-Pay!
