When I first mentioned the problem to them, they said they'd swap the cap, then they reversed course asked me to keep riding to see if the battery is truly running out or if the cap is just sending a bogus "battery low" indication to the head unit. Apparently, the battery is actually running down. We'll see what happens with the update.
