I'll be at the Moscone Center next week and will be bringing a bike to do some morning rides. I figure I can ride it between my hotel (Fisherman's Wharf area) and Moscone, but if I do I'd like to lock it up somewhere reasonably safe. I'll bring a U-Lock or could bring a monster-sized chain if necessary (it's an old Cannondale MTB, and somewhat beater'ish), but am more worried about losing bits and pieces that are attached.

I saw on the SFMTA website that there are racks in the Moscone garage "on the right rear of cashier's office". Anyone have experience with the rack there and it being a safe place to leave a bike for the day, or should I spend some time filling hex headed bolts with solder or epoxy?
