Thank you for your critique, Chris516. When I first made the video, it was for a drunk driving deterrence program. The last half of the video, instead of focusing on bike safety, focused on drunk drivers. My intention was to show how one person is connected to so many who love him/her--children, parents, siblings, friends, spouses. In that version of the video, I ask drivers to not drink for themselves and their loved ones, because tragedy CAN happen to any one of them.

Just the other day, the town secretary in the small(500 inhabitants) town I live in referred to me as a 'wild man'. Because I adamantly 'take the lane', and don't budge. But in addition to dealing with motorists' for my own safety, I also think about cyclists' like your (late) husband. While I am not a fan of the band, or their music, I think about the Beastie Boys song from the 1980's or 90's titled 'Fight For The Right To Party'. I feel that, as I am still able to ride my bike, I will always be 'partying' in their honor, by fighting for cyclists' rights.
