Slowly but surely, I'm increasing the number of miles I fit into a ride. Today was a new record for me (don't laugh ... still a measley 15 mile ride, but I'm new and out of shape). Unfortunately, I left the heart rate monitor at home . I estimate that I kept the HR between 140-150, though. I can't wait until I can get my average mph up to 15-18 for a full 30 mile ride.
