Bikes: A few

I got held up at gun point with the guy chambering a round and pointing the gun straight into my face a few blocks from my apt. and I still ride wherever I want to. There have been other experiences where people have pointed guns at me because they were crazy idiots too. Shootings and that sort of thing are rare occurrences that just happen when you happen to be unlucky and in the wrong place at the wrong time. Though it can be a harrowing experience, I would just chock it up to bad luck and keep riding. However, having been in projects where it was like a war zone, you definitely have to avoid those places at all costs. Keep enjoying your riding and thank your lucky stars you were not injured or worse. It wasn't your time, so be happy and continue riding. Don't let it get to you. Life is to be enjoyed - on a bike.
