I got a pair of these a couple weeks ago, it helped cut the cold somewhat but I don't think there is a perfect solution. Bottom line is that I am glad I bought them but my toes still get cold.

Thanks, Tourist in MSN, I just bought the REI shoe covers, can't go wrong with 7 bucks...the plastic hangars is also a good idea. Now that you mention it most hotels and motels have the closet only hangars.
