people on our CM facebook group constantly ask about buying a Vilano SS bike and I always steer them elsewhere ($300 isn't even that cheap for that pos).
I usually recommend the kilo or something used off CL but this same guy (who owns one) ALWAYS recommends them. He even just said "Thats what I bought 18 months ago. I love it. You will need to replace some things as they go out, bottom bracket, seat, tires, pedals, bars" and "My frame has a crack near the rear dropout. It's never been a problem. I figured if it ever got bigger, I'd weld it."
Anytime you can buy a frame with that cracks (they won't replace them, just 10% discount on new ones) and requires a total overhaul of all the components for $250, you gotta do it.
it's the new place to say 'kilo tt'
