i.e. it was put together by some Asian kid who gets paid Taiwanese minimum wage.
anybody who's worked as a builder at a bike shop can tell you that on pretty much every single bike there's something off. half the time you get wheels that don't look like they've been trued at all and half the time you get perfectly true wheels. same with bar tape. sometimes FD's are perfectly dialed in others both limit screws are all the way out. sometimes they don't even make an effort to properly torque the crank. etc. they make a lot of mistakes or they're lazy sometimes.
