+1 My hybrid has 40mm Vittoria Randoneurs that have lower rolling resistance than the stock 23mm tires that came on my road bike. The first upgrade I did to the road bike was replacing its tires with 150 threads per inch Rubinos.
Right now, I'm loving the 35mm tires on my 3 speed. They are comfortable when riding over rough surfaces, while still having good ride performance characteristics.
