Roadies can learn some bike-handling skills off-road.
I've noticed that those roadies who live the double-life also as a mountain biker are much better handlers of their bikes in peletons in races and group rides. I think that anyone that is serious about riding should give it a chance. A lot of the great descenders in road racing have some roots in mountainbiking.
Does anyone else think the pure roadies should take a chance and get some bike handling skills by trying another element of the cycling world (mountain biking)?
Also, how many of you out there live the double-life?
