I recently let a cosmetically challenged early eighties Marinoni Special frame set go for $250 but the buyer had to add another $75 for shipping costs, putting his value at $325.00. The frame went to Toronto.
That said, Marinoni has become increasingly sought after in the vintage bicycle arena. Cleaned up properly, the frame might do well.
All that said, I have owned several Marinoni bicycles, and
still have a 1976 hanging in The Old Shed. They are very nicely made bicycles, offering quality materials coupled with a master builder's quality. Hard to beat that combination and the ride quality will prove that to be true.
