Congratulations on the commute! Hope you stick with it. I just did my first two work commutes yesterday and today, as well, also on an old mountain bike. When i get my road bike back I'll be much happier but I really loved the commute. I love biking so being able to do it every morning before work and right after work is appealing to me. I actually leeched off this thread for ideas before I did my first commute yesterday, so I'd like to thank everyone for the great tips as well!
