On my 2005 C'dale Bad Boy, the cantilever brake pads are almost impossible to replace. These are the long pads that slide in from the back, then youre supposed to lock them in w/a pin. But it's hard to get them in all the way. I used WD40 as a lube, and it worked great; had no apparent effect after a ride. Will WD40 dentegrate the pad? How bout chain lube, grease, vaseline,???
