Strange as it may sound, The Tamale Place here in Indy is amazingly good. Fresh made, in a variety of types (meat, meatless, dessert), all posted in available quantities each morning on a dry-erase board, and when they're gone for the day, they're gone. They also have incredible nachos. The place was featured on DD&D on Food TV. And best (or worst) of all, they're two doors from my office.
Sounds good! Like this place, the roll all their chile rellenos by hand, when they are gone they are gone.
This place is family owned. So when the clock hits 8pm (closing time) if people continue to come, they stick around and feed the people. Cool but on Sunday they serve menudo and breakfast then say see ya!
I've forgotten, drove down for dinner on Sunday they closed at 2.
