As for me, I am pending settlement, but it could have ended up much worse very easily. When I have signed the settlement papers, I may disclose a little more info, but for now, I'll put it this way:

You d*mn well better have video proof, or you will very likely end up having to foot the bill if you survive. I was lucky. Could have ended up much worse. Thankfully the police report didn't play into it and charges weren't pressed, or I'd have been screwed out of everything I own for not doing anything wrong. We live in a screwed up world.

At this point, I'm just thankful I'm still alive and able to go back to work.
