Most of the time was actually 48/12. I think I was going around 9-12 MPH most of the time. My much more experienced friend was pretty much in the same gear as me the whole time, except she has a 50 tooth front, and we might be converting her bike (Trek 1.2) to a very similar setup since she uses the 50t about 95% of the time. Well dude...not much more to say to you. While I feel that Andy's comments were over the top as this is just bikes were talking out, I will tell you that anybody who rides in 48/12 at 9-12 mph, doesn't need to change his gearing...he needs a skateboard.
If you ain't trolling, you just don't have a clue about how to ride a bike. If the latter, maybe you will learn over time. If not, you stay among the ranks of the rest of the bottom feeders.
