I have a 2010 Elantra Touring and any of my 52 cm bikes fit just fine with the front wheel removed. Bigger than 54cm (33 inch inseam) and you might have to lower the saddle. There is always a roof rack too. Mine has 22k miles and gets 29mph around town, 33 at highway speed. With roof rack carrier you can carry 3 bikes, people, and bags. You are not going to over power anyone but it scoots when you ask it. There may be a Sonata wagon coming out in a year or two.
