Yup, you're correct- Alivio chainrings are riveted on. Took around for a late 90s "compact" shimano 5 arm MTB crank with a 94/58 BCD size. ("Normal" mountain is 110/74 BCD). These are the cranks with the 42/32/22 chainring sizes.
