If you are going to do it indoors during the winter(to stay off snow, etc) You might have issues with heat. I know our dorms were always WAY to warm during the winter, and being on a trainer would make the room like a sauna.
Even if you get the quietest trainer, when you add a fan large enough to cool you off, you are looking at a pretty loud setup, let alone how much space it would take...
The aroma might also be a turn off for a roomate...
