Don't believe the horror stories on tubulars. You can use a wire wheel on a cordless drill to take off the old glue or just leave it. I would go with the three for $50 tubulars Yellow Jersey sells. I like them because you can remove the valve stems and squeeze in slime as a nice safety precaution. I used them and never had a single flat and even commuted on them. I didn't have to prestretch them either and were super easy to install. Just a heads up.
Funny you mentioned the yellow jerseys, i was going to ask if those would be the best value and if anyone else had them.
