This combined with just the right pedal cadence to allow for that perfectly silent downshift. For a split second, you think "Did I not change gears?", then you start pedalling harder and you realize with satisfaction that you did indeed shift and are now in the perfect gear. Mmm, gives me goosebumps just thinking about it.
