This is what's really happenig. My "good" weather is counterbalanced by someone elses "bad" weather. For my part of the country, an extremely fortunate twist of the winter jet stream has resulted in a "good" year so far. As pointed out above though, this may yet result in unfortunate circumstances. I have never seen my trails as dry as they are at this point of the year. That dry could result in "bad" things later in the year.

Today will be a hiking day instead of a riding day. It's already almost 50 at 6am but the wind is blowing hard. Hiking provides good exercise for the ankles and knees.

There was a prediction on the weather this morning of near 80deg weather next week.
