I know exactly why these threads happen: when one goes to their LBS, even as awesome as 718Cyclery, which specializes in vintage single-speed conversions and fixed gears: they only carry two types of saddles: Specialized (ugh) or Brooks (doesn't fit all styles). So people come on here and ask which tarck/hipster saddle will feel the best on their ***. In NYC there are stores that carry track saddles: Chari&Co, Affinity, etc. But otherwise it is really hard to get a store to order a seat and then not buy it from them. Do you guys agree?

Btw: my 20 year old San Marco looks like some discolored **** but its ah-mazing to sit on!
