Bikes: Custom Winter, Challenge Seiran SL, Fuji Team Pro, Cattrike Road/Velokit, РOS hybrid

What are the best wheels you'd use for slop riding?

I'm not talking about an occasional ride in the rain, but rather the wheels you use for extended riding in crap that you know will wreck them.

My real question is I've wrecked another set of cheapies and am wondering if I should switch to the Easton Vistas that came stock with my Fuji 2005 Team Pro and are still in good condition or buy something cheaper. Yeah, I know the Vistas aren't that great, but they've been a good dry weather commuting wheel.

If I mount the Vistas, they'll be chewed up within a year and destroyed in two.
