Bikes: '96 Litespeed Catalyst, '05 Litespeed Firenze, '06 Litespeed Tuscany, '20 Surly Midnight Special, All are 3x10. It is hilly around here!

+1 on FBinNY's advice. If you used a water based cleaner I'll put money on the fact you didn't get it dry internally. At this point heat (say a hair dryer) is your best bet for getting the chain thoroughly dry before relubing it.
