Icebreaker makes a killer bibshorts, and the chamois is top notch. The wool is also great, even though it may feel heavy in the summer, but it works wonders in regulating body temp and wicking. I don't have the Ibex bibshorts, so I can't compare. But I will put the Icebreaker chamois in the same bracket as the Rapha and high-end Castelli (e.g. X2).

BTW, the Icebearker fits somewhere between the European slim fit and the regular US more relax fit. Keep that in mind. I am 5'10 and 160, and wear an M in Icebreaker, and L in the slim fit Castelli or Giordana.
