Thanks for comments and suggestions. I haven't really ridden either bike yet, only one on a trainer in the store. The weather around here along with my schedule have not presented an opportunity for test ride.

However, my earlier opinions are evolving, and now I plan to take perhaps a couple of weeks longer to make a decision and hopefully be able to take two or more bikes for a real test ride. My initial question was sort of a "what if" scenario because upon first examination two bikes appeard to nearly equal in price.
