For the most part, I don't use hand signals. Not just because of a balance issue. But also because, I get the feeling that when I have used hand signals, motorists' thought I was drunk. The only hand signal(if it could really be called that) I use with consistency is, waving my in a motion indicating to pass me, when I am stopped at the side of the road.
