If you are not interested in replicating an older look, you should consider a tig-welded frame. With modern components and fork, I'd say wow.
For the fork I'm very likely going to go carbon, probably an Enve 1.0.
After a lot of looking through flickr, i've seen what Pelizzoli's colors look like in real life. More and more, i'm thinking full Anthracite Gray with maybe some blue Chris King hardware.
