I would never replace a crank until you've ridden it and know why you want to. If you're not a hardened long-distance rider, then a properly maintained crankset is more important than having Sugino 75s or anything remotely fancy. Learn. Then upgrade.

Lockring is junk on the Kilo TT according to multiple threads that have existed on the forums. I do not own a Kilo, but if I did, I'd go with something blue-collar like the Milwaukee lockring (and cog for that Made In America goodness).
thanks for the input and for the quick response. now time to finish reading all the stickies. side note its weird to be the noob on a forum, being a veteran on my car forums its a weird role change
