3) Since I will live longer (under normal circumstances) then my meaningful lifetime income will be more.
4) I receive the absolute lowest rates on health, auto and life insurance because of my physical condition. i.e. perfect BP, extremely low cholesteral, low resting heart rate below 50 bpm, no diebetes, etc, etc, etc..
5) Keeps me out of trouble. Trouble is always a big ticket item.
6) More time on the bike means less time in the car. Guy just has to be traveling somehow.
7) My sefl esteem is much improved and I don't go looking for ways to manage any depression.
8) I fight stress much better, meaning I am more productive at work and around the house. This is $'s saved and earned.

and if your wife does not buy off on all this tell her that sex life improves. Now the pressure is on you !

Don't feel guilty. Be proud you can sport such a nice ride. Enjoy.
Really good post. I'll also add my observation that healthy, athletic types are more often promoted at work. Anyone noticed that?

Enjoy your Orbea. Gorgeous bike.
