Badger_Bike, thanks for your reply, was able to figure out a way to use the REI bag with slide which is good because of it being smaller and lighter than Topeak with panniers. Have pics of both setups so I can go either way now 2 of my bikes. Will keep your info in case my fix doesn't work, thanks again for your reply. I do like the REI panniers a lot, and the way they attach and release is excellent.
