The Rally does not have a slant parallelogram. It has a drop paralleogram and there was nor Suntour patent on that. The Rally more closely resembles the design of the Shimano Crane than any Suntour because they couldn't use the patented slant parallelogram, but I think both Campy and Shimano studied the Suntours before they came out with their own touring derailers.
