What's with this three-speed craziness on eBay? This bike shop seems to have a handful of nice old English bikes but is trying to sell them for about, oh...3-10 times what they're worth. Not to mention, they seem to be trying to pass off a Sports as a Dawn Tourist. Either way, no nice old bike with an incomplete chain case is worth $2400.

I guess they subscribe to the "never hurts to ask" theory and hope some chump will just have to have it. I love eBay foolishness -- put it on the watch list and marvel as it gets relisted over and over. thanks for another chance to play.
