Chicago has gone 3-speed crazy this spring. Bikes seemingly rolled straight out of basements after hibernating for 30-40 years have prices on CL similar to what I sold them for fully restored and de-rusted polished just last summer.
I hope people aren't paying that kind of money for them and then realizing they are going to need to go to a bike shop and pay $150 for a heavy tune up and all new bearings plus new tires and maybe quite a few cables. By the time they put on a nice new Brooks and a few other accessories they could have just went out and bought a new Pashley.
