Quill seat post is worth almost as much as the entire frameset. Take care of it, its pretty quirky. I bought a Schwinn 434 just to get that seatpost.
The seatpost is a crappy design. In one quarter turn of adjustment, you have to go from loose, to tight. That's the entire range of adjustment. So basically, it has to go in pretty snug to begin with.
