I've been on it for years without any side effects that I'm aware of. I took myself off of it so the doc and I could see if it was necessary since I lost all the weight and have had carpal tunnel release. I did go back on after the carpal and trigger finger releases at the request of my Orthopedic surgeon--to reduce the post-operative swelling. Since I've developed some sciatica and I've just finished this round of steroids, I'll probably restart Celebrex to reduce inflammation causing the issue.
