I had a DT Swiss 32 hole RR 1.1 rim fail from cracking around the spoke holes. My Mavic Open Pro 32 and 36 hole rims have not cracked (so far). I like the DT Swiss rims because they are a bit lighter than comparable Mavic rims. But I think the Mavic rims are generally tougher.
