I can honestly say I have ridden all over the USA... no doubt there are prettier roads and trails elsewhere but they don't come with our year round riding weather so that gives us an edge. In addition, many of our cities are "bike friendly" and build into master plans bike lanes and trails. In alot of other states, there are nice roads but no bike lanes; its alittle scary to do street riding. And of course, we have world class mountain bike trails... OK I admit, not like Switzerland or France, Colorado or Utah, but nice none the less and again we have the weather!

Just my humble opinion but I would argue Orange County and San Diego County are in the top 10% of places to ride.
