Yep... Wednesday.... Decided to go check out Lochloosa Wildlife Management Area. I have been riding through parts of it for years on the G.ville Hawthorne Trail, but never actually went off the trail on the mountain bike. Parked at the horse parking area to the g.ville trail in Hawthorne. The trails/logging roads were in REALLY nice shape considering that they had just got done logging in the area. Usually the trucks tear up the roads bad when that happens... NOT so this time. Rode about 5 miles to the signs in the first 2 pictures. Two signs same entrance. Took a different way back and ended up on the G.ville trail back to the van. Ended up riding 1hr 16mins..... a bit over 13 miles....

It was an AWESOME ride... Really enjoyed it, was feeling good on the bike riding on good trails!!! I wanted to ride more, but had work to get done at home. BUT on the plus side there are a LOT more trails to ride... And another whole area to ride that connects to Lochloosa ... Longleaf Flatwoods Reserve!!! MORE FUN TO BE HAD!!!
