May I ask a stupid question? (I know - I just did...) But what exactly constitutes "commuting specific" miles? I mean, I know I do a few purely recreational "I just like toodling around on a bike" kind of rides, but pretty much ALL my rides are a commute to somewhere - a friend's house, the playground with my daughter, the farmer's market, etc. Just curious before I screw this list up.
The way I understand it is, commuting miles are whatever you ride to and from work, and any errands in between. Purely "fun" stuff like group rides or pootling around after arriving back home wouldn't count. But there's some wiggle room, and I've included errands that weren't completely necessary just for the sake of doing them. And if you wanted to take a longer route to work, why wouldn't that count?
